Sonography Training in Colorado

Students who want to attend CAAHEP-accredited or ARRT-recognized ultrasound technician programs in Colorado have two choices as of 2017. One program is accredited by CAAHEP. The program is offered by the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, and students can earn a certificate in general sonography. Though there is the single ultrasound tech program, the Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is well respected for its quality. The program requirements provide didactic and clinical education and include classroom and laboratory instruction and training and hands-on scanning experience.
