In 2017, two of the five largest cities in Kansas have CAAHEP accredited ultrasound technician schools – Kansas City and Topeka. A third accredited sonography program is in Parsons, Kansas. Diagnostic Medical Sonography students have a number of certificate choices. For example, ultrasound technology students can choose to earn a certificate in general sonography, cardiac sonography or vascular sonography.
