University Center, Michigan is an unincorporated area that contains two educational facilities. It is 18 miles from Midland, Michigan and 8 miles from Bay City, Michigan. University Center was named based on the fact it is an area that has two colleges – Saginaw Valley State University (10,245 enrollments) and Delta College (12,000 enrollments). Students will find the only area Diagnostic Medical sonography program that has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) at Delta College, making it the best choice. The CAAHEP accredited sonography program consists of didactic instruction and clinical training and is designed to ensure program graduates are well-prepared to take the ARDMS sonography exams and to begin a successful sonography career with sonography certificate or diploma in hand.
