Students can choose among three CAAHEP accredited programsin Massachusetts in 2017, and they have a nice selection of locations that include Boston, Bedford and Springfield. As of 2017, all three schools have programs leading to earning an Associate degree in general sonography, but Bunker Hill Community College offers a choice of general sonography or cardiac sonography as a concentration. Ultrasound technology students should take the sonography exams for ARDMS certification upon meeting educational program requirements in order to earn the highest possible salary given training and experience levels.
