Foothill College in Los Altos Hills is the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program closest to San Jose that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. It is only 18 miles away from San Jose and the best choice for local sonography students. The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs ensures the program content and clinical training experience prepares students to meet the requirements of the ARDMS to sit for its sonography certification exams.
If unable to attend Foothill College and attending school outside San Jose, there are many other CAAHEP accredited ultrasound technician schools in California that prepare students for the many exciting jobs available across the country.
